The Deep Learning Project
Developing Excellence In Learning And Relationships
Working With Others and Nicola Powell’s Primary Matters have brought together their proven creative approaches to curriculum design, behaviour, skills and relationships for the launch of a striking new Brighton & Hove initiative.
The project began in January 2008 with 11 Brighton & Hove schools and at its core are practical, proven, ideas and support for schools that want to truly raise standards in achievement, motivation, ownership and access to learning.
Over 5 terms the project will help raise standards in attendance, behaviour, self esteem, motivation, attainment, engagement and will be delivered so that children will be excited and engaged; learn in a new way; own their learning journey; support each other's learning; build positive, inclusive relationships with peers; be part of planning; achieve more.
