The principles of the Working With Others personalised support and training programme for schools is highly effective in other English speaking countries and settngs.

Early Years Settings
Our extensive work with children as young as 8 months has clearly shown that even very young children, can learn and benefit from Working With Others, surprising the adults around them, exceeding and challenging expectations of what young children can do and say and how they can interact with others.

A lot of our work in this area has been in conjunction with Pumpkin Patch Day Care Centre in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, our flagship International Early Years setting. Click here to find out more.

International Schools
The children of UK nationals working and living abroad can find socialising a challenge, particularly if they are also coping with the upheaval of relocation. Staff at International Schools can then be left with the residual anti-social and withdrawn behaviour that can easily be the result.

With the support of Working With Others training, teachers and teaching staff are able to develop good practice of group work skills with children for their learning, behaviour and relationships with each other, both in the playground and in the classroom.

Recent work includes Cyprus where the team has welcomed the significant improvement that there has been in inclusion, empowerment and contribution from everyone.

Delivery of WWO Training
All of the WWO training is planned and delivered by co-founder of the programme, Dr Cathy Ota who will personally

  • discuss the specific needs of your school
  • work with you to plan and tailor the most cost effective training programme for your setting
  • travel to your school to deliver the training
  • provide ongoing supervision and follow up visits

Clearly the International fees for the programme are not insignificant for any one organisation, but we have a number of successful approaches that we can suggest that can help you to share the costs with other organisations in your area.
