Teaching Assistants

Working With Others provides an excellent opportunity to develop and extend the TA's role in supporting inclusive, positive peer relationships and effective group work with both small groups of pupils and the whole class.

With ongoing support WWO trainers help Teaching Assistants explore ways of how to effectively support individual pupils to gain confidence and understanding so that they are able to participate more as a member of the whole class – and that includes even the most reluctant of children.

In offering a wide range of practical ideas and activities for TAs WWO helps practitioners create a safe and trusting relationship with pupils in their care.

Working With Others encourages all practitioners to reflect on their practice and identify how they can promote positive relationships and effective group work within the school.

We can support teams of TAs both in school and across a group of schools  providing regular opportunities for them to come together for further training and creating a reflective space where they can share ideas and draw up their action plans for the school.
