- Impact positively on key life skills, self esteem and inclusion

Course Outline:
Autumn Term (1 ½ days) - Developing Trust
We begin by exploring the fundamental principles of the Working With Others approach. Practitioners will participate in activities which explore how to develop the concept of trust so that children can build positive relationships as a foundation for collaboration.
There will be opportunities for practitioners to share good practice and identify challenges. Qualified and experienced Working With Others trainers will support practitioners in using practical strategies to promote trusting relationships.
Spring Term (1 ½ Days) - Promoting Positive Communication
This day will build on the group’s trusting relationships established in the Autumn term. Practical activities and reflection will look at how developing children’s verbal and non verbal communication impacts on relationships and collaborative learning.
Summer Term (1 ½ Days) - Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution
The Summer term’s training focuses on the National Curriculums key skill of working with others. Practitioners will gain experience of tasks and strategies to develop independent problem solving within the curriculum and on the playground.
